Marina Genova is a graduate of Stage and Screen Design at NATFA "Krastyo Sarafov", as well as a Master in Digital Arts at the National Academy of Art, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Her works have been shown in exhibitions such as "Special Impulse" (2020, FLUCA - Austrian Cultural Pavilion in Plovdiv), "Here the Food Never Goes Bad" (2020, Gallery "Gallery", Sofia), "Electronic Dreams" (2019, +359 Gallery, Sofia), The Gift (2018, ICA, Sofia), "Critiquing Media" (2017, Credo Bonum Gallery, Sofia) and "Toyophilia and Toyphobia" (2016, ICA, Sofia).

 

Marina Genova's work explores the impact of rapidly evolving technologies and networks on ideological, economic and political structures, through popular culture and postmodern realities.
