POSTcard Landscapes from Lanzarote I and II
Varvara & Mar is an artist duo formed by Dr Varvara Guljajeva and Mar Canet in 2009. In their practice, they confront social changes and the impact of the technological era. Artists have exhibited in several international venues, such as MAD in New York, FACT in Liverpool, Santa Monica in Barcelona, Barbican and V&A Museum in London, Ars Electronica in Linz, ZKM in Karlsruhe, and more.
Varvara is an assistant professor at Computational Media and Arts in the HKUST(GZ). Mar is a PhD candidate and Cudan research fellow at Baltic Film, Media and Arts School in the Tallinn University.
